Terms of Service

Chapter 1: General Provisions

  1. Article 1 (Purpose)
    • These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities related to the use of the Design Company and Freelancer Directory Service (hereinafter "Service") provided by Design Switch Inc. (hereinafter "Company").

  2. Article 2 (Definitions)

    • "Service" refers to the online platform provided by the Company through [https://www.designswitch.co] for viewing information about design companies and freelancers.
    • "Member" refers to an individual who agrees to these Terms and completes registration by providing a corporate representative email or personal email to the Company.
    • "Directory Information" refers to information about design companies and freelancers that the Company collects and processes, either directly or based on publicly available data, and provides through the Service.

  3. Article 3 (Effect and Modification of the Terms)

    • These Terms become effective when the user agrees to the Terms and registers as a member.
    • The Company may modify these Terms within the scope not violating relevant laws. The modified Terms will be announced on the website 7 days before their effective date, and if a member does not express an objection to the announced Terms, they will be deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms.

Chapter 2: Membership Registration and Withdrawal

  1. Article 4 (Membership Registration)

    • A user can apply for membership by entering their corporate or personal email address and agreeing to these Terms.
    • The Company approves the user's application, completing the membership registration process.
    • The member is responsible for managing the email address provided during registration. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from the member's negligence in managing their email.

  2. Article 5 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification)

    • A member may request to withdraw at any time via email or through the procedures within the Service, and the Company will process the withdrawal immediately.
    • The Company may restrict or revoke a member's qualification if the member falls under any of the following categories:

      • Providing false information during the registration process.
      • Obstructing another person's use of the Service or engaging in information theft, thereby interfering with the Service's operation.

Chapter 3: Service Use and Provision of Information

  1. Article 6 (Management of Directory Information and Posts)

    • Directory Information: The design company and freelancer information (company name, address, website, public social media, etc.) registered on this Service is collected by the Company based on publicly available information on the internet. The Company's role is limited to that of an information provider, and it does not guarantee the currency or completeness of the information. Before using the directory information for business activities, users must verify it directly with the respective companies.
    • Posts: All rights and responsibilities for information directly registered by a member (company profile, contact information, etc.) lie with that member.
    • Deletion of Information and Restriction of Use: The Company may delete information or restrict a member's use of the Service without prior notice in the following cases:

      • The information infringes on another's copyright or contains illegal content.
      • The information registered by a company or member is found to be false.
      • When a user registers information for a company or a freelancer without being an official representative of that company or the freelancer themselves.

Chapter 4: Responsibilities and Obligations

  1. Article 7 (Personal Information Protection and Responsibility for Public Information)

    • Limited Collection of Personal Information: The Company only collects email addresses during membership registration and processes a minimum amount of user's personal information.
    • Use of Public Information: The company websites and public social media addresses included in this Service are information voluntarily made public by the respective companies. The Company collects and provides only publicly available information and therefore does not violate the Personal Information Protection Act.
    • Email Account Management: Members bear all responsibility for managing the email account used for registration. The Company is not responsible for any issues arising from negligence in email account management.
  2. Article 8 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)

    • In the event of a dispute between the Company and a member regarding the use of the Service, both parties will seek a resolution through mutual agreement.
    • If an agreement cannot be reached, litigation related to the dispute will be handled by the Uijeongbu District Court.
